How is Gift 92 Funded?

It costs around £70,000 to deliver our service each year. We receive only a small proportion of this from statutory grants and just over half from the people and agencies using our service – that means we have to raise approximately £25,000 through charitable means. Approximately 40% of our funding comes from charitable support.

How Can You Help?

Donate Items: Please donate your surplus household items – we offer a free collection service for all reusable furniture and household goods which will be passed on to local people in need.

Donate funds: We rely on your kind generosity to provide for local people, you can increase the value of your donation through Gift Aid or donate in your Will.

  • £150 could fund a starter pack for someone in need;
  • £200 could fund diesel for a month;
  • £500 could support a month of essential warehouse, office and administration costs.

Support our annual auction: We hold an auction each year with an extensive range if items ranging from garden tools to fitness equipment, to cuddly toys, games and golf clubs. All lots are donated by supporters or surplus items gathered from house clearances.

These events are a lot of fun and make an important contribution to our work – our most recent auction raised £1050 which financed the service, MOT and repair of our van. Upcoming events will be promoted on our Events page, we hope to see you at our next auction!
