How is Gift 92 Funded?
It costs around £100,000 to deliver our service each year. We receive only a small proportion of this from statutory grants and just over half from the people and agencies using our service – that means we have to raise approximately £30,000 through fundraising.
It costs £300 every month to put fuel in our van and £100 for our telephone.
Our weekly wage costs are £1500. Although we have regular dedicated volunteers our core service is manned by similarly dedicated staff to ensure our collections and deliveries operate Monday to Friday throughout the year.
How you can help?
Donate funds: We rely on your kind generosity to provide for local people, you can increase the value of your donation through Gift Aid or donate in your Will.
Hold a fundraising event: This would publicise our charity and help raise vital funding.
Donate items: Please donate your surplus household items – we offer a free collection service for reusable furniture and household goods which will be passed on to local people in need. We cannot collect all items offered to us due to their large size and condition.
